Peaceful Protest

the final breath exposes
the circumstance of one’s demise

creeping through pursed lips
a whisper towards permanent ease

or maybe

a spurted escape
of a violent ending

I wish for neither

I will  gleefully scream, matching the energy of my sudden entry to this world;

a summation of a cycle of human suffering.

I’m drawn to be part of the choral release
